In the premier issue of The Daily Mobster, a shady deal is made at the train tracks just outside of town, between two shadowy figures.​​

     The Kid, escapes his orphanage and finds refuge in the nearby city of Port Noir.​

     We meet the incredibly wealthy and suave, rail baron, Boss Boston and his socialite wife, Bea Ives as they layout their plans to finish off their last remaining and pestering enemy, Leo Black.   But, Leo has other plans as he hatches his own scheme to stay relevant and gain back the power he once had. ​

     The Kid, escaping the violence of his past, runs into a crowd gathered around the biggest event of the year, The Annual Five & Dime Horse Race where our mobsters have everything bet on the line.
