The very first comic issue of The Daily Mobster cinematic graphic novel is finally here, The Daily Mobster Chapter One: The Price of Life. A project 15 years in the making is online and available for anyone to read for free and with no ads! Film and animation industry vets team together to create this breath taking new take on the mobster noir genre in what promises to be a dramatic ride with dark comedy, intricate crimes, masterfully shot action sequences, mysterious drama, a touch of the super natural and the most impressive character designs the comic world has seen in a long time.

The premier issue of this gangster laden, crime infested tale of the city of Port Noir begins in an unassuming field near the train tracks. A grief stricken father meets with a mysterious figure, a man in a hat and is presented with an impossible choice: to see his daughter again or to become a murder. The world then immediately opens up into the shady backdoor dealings of the city's richest oligarchs, The Bostons, a potentially corrupt judge and strange story of an orphan who makes a narrow escape during an assassination attempt on his life. The world of the gangster / mobster themed comic of The Daily Mobster promises to deliver an emotional story with a lot of humor and heart.


The visuals are unmatched in the comic world and it's hard to believe the highly cinematic looks is coming from an indie group of creatives. You won't be disappointed by the immersive imagery and gripping characters that pull you into the intense and epic world of The Daily Mobster graphic novel.


The comic is set to release monthly and then bi-monthly and as disclosed on their recent interview on World At War Comics, the creators, Slavik IA and Jack Kasprzak, expect the full story series to be about 23-25 issues with a closed ending (no endless series)
